Rosetta, Philae e la foto più lontana dalla Terra

Una riflessione che faccio insieme a voi. Una delle più importanti foto della storia è stata fatta ieri da una sonda spaziale.

La sonda si chiama Rosetta che ha usato il suo OSIRIS imaging system (non ho idea di cosa sia ma mi informerò) per fotografare il suo modulo (lander) da abbordaggio Philae mentre andava verso la cometa (o astro vagante)  67 P/ Churjumov-Gerasimenko.

Anche Philae ha restituito il favore alla sua “amica”, come potete vedere qui sotto.

Farewell_Rosetta
Rosetta’s lander Philae took this parting shot of its mothership shortly after separation. The image was taken with the lander’s CIVA-P imaging system and captures one of Rosetta’s 14 metre-long solar arrays. It was stored onboard the lander until the radio link was established with Rosetta around two hours after separation, and then relayed to Earth.

Fra le altre cose stiamo parlando (almeno credo) della fotografia scattata nel posto più lontano dal pianeta terra ad oggi disponibile! Almeno credo (ndr: non è cosi come potete verificare dai commenti a questo post ^_^).

L’ultima foto è quella della cometa, sarebbe stato ingiusto non metterla ^_^

prova a cercare “pale blue dot” :-). Tra l’altro non sono sicuro che sia quella fatta dal luogo più remoto
